2017 New York Baby Show

It’s that time of year again! We—your friends at P&N—are so excited for the annual 2017 New York Baby Show, happening May 20-21 at Pier 94 in the big apple.

The New York Baby Show—now in its seventh year—is the largest of its kind in the country for expectant parents, providing a quality experience to help with the amazing transition into parenthood. Attendees will enjoy many family-friendly festivities, including learning about top brands, gaining insight from guest seminar speakers, getting the chance to win big giveaways and just being a part of the bonding, support and fun that comes with the parenting community.

The show will feature an array of expert and influential speakers (covering topics such as gear, parenting tips, safety, etc.) who aim to educate, inform and enlighten. There will also be entertainers on site to ensure even the littlest attendees have a great time. The two  keynote speakers this year include:

  • Jamie Grayson, The BabyGuy Gear Expert
  • Harvey Karp, Pediatrician & Child Development Expert

In addition to creating a memorable event for the entire family, the New York Baby Show is also a great value. Tickets are $30 per family (valid for two adults and up to four children) and $20 per individual. What’s more? We are giving away 100 tickets to our Pregnancy & Newborn fans! The first 100 participants to register will receive a free ticket. But even if you are not one of the lucky hundred, don’t worry! You can still save 50 percent on admission using the promo code: Newborn50.

This year’s show is sure to be larger than ever before with 150+ top brands, including Babies ‘R’ Us, Chicco, gb, Munchkin, Stokke, Uppababy and more! It promises to be a time of fun for all ages, and we can’t wait to see all our P&N families there!

Special thanks to New York Baby Show’s partners at the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA)—the industry association for child products—for supporting this year’s event.

Laugh it up

Are you familiar with the Charlie Chaplin quote, “A day without laughter is a day wasted”? The quote hung on my roommate’s wall during college, and my pre-child-self reflected on the truth of that statement whenever life got too serious. Mr. Chaplin reminds us to live with less agenda, more soul, and a whole lotta […]

Week 29: The beginning of the end

I have hit the third trimester deluge, and I am definitely feeling the pressure to get stuff done. (Confession: I may or may not have gotten overly emotional after leaving the Motor Vehicle Tag & Title office because I was ready to cross this particular hassle off my to-do list, and I was informed that […]

So, when I initially decided to write for Dad’s Eye View, I knew that it’d be tricky for me to provide weekly material for a post—not for lack of material but rather lack of time. (For the sake of maintaining a sliver of anonymity, I’ll refer to my wife as L, my oldest as N, my […]

We’re here to help you turn your note-writing skills from rusty and reluctant to expert and earnest. When searching for a carrier for my little man, high prices and inconvenient weight restrictions crossed many a carrier off of the list. Why couldn’t someone create a carrier that would fit my tot when he was a newborn and when he grew into a toddler? My pretty girl: The birth of Sofia Michelle

I was at my 38 week check up on Wednesday, November 28 when the nurse took my blood pressure a few times before the doctor came in. When he did, he told me I was 1 cm dilated and my blood pressure was slightly high. He asked me to come back the next day to […]
